A three-generation seed company
The company Adaglio Sementi SRL, founded in April 1950 on the initiative of Paolo Adaglio, has constantly renewed itself in order to be increasingly competitive and to offer high quality products on the market.
The modern and functional headquarters was moved in the early 70s from the center of the town to the outskirts of Oviglio, a few kilometers from Alessandria, in a strategic position with respect to the commercial triangle Milan, Turin, Genoa.
The company today is composed of the headquarter where the offices and the selected seeds production department are located, a covered warehouse of 3,500 square meters for the storage of packaged products and 13 vertical silos with a total capacity of about 40,000 quintals for seeds in nature. Since 2009, these have been joined by the the innovative Silobag ground storage method which increases the company’s ability to store cereals and grains.
The context we live in, where globalization leads us to cross our borders putting us at risk of losing our uniqueness, Adaglio Sementi tries to stand out by “cultivating” the relationship with people by providing quality products, searching for the most suitable seeds varieties, using cutting-edge machinery, because we believe that customer satisfaction is not a foregone conclusion but a continuous challenge.
For this reason, the Adaglio family has been passionately dealing with new agricultural scenarios for almost 70 years now, without forgetting the past, made of traditions and experiences. Adaglio Sementi stands out for the seriousness and competence of its staff, put at the service of its customers, and for offering only high quality products (seeds / fertilizers / agrochemicals).

A wide range of high quality seeds, appreciated by farmers: soft and hard wheat, triticale, barley, chickpea, ryegrass, herb mixtures, oats, protein peas, soy, rapeseed…
Over the years, Adaglio has developed a vast network of international collaborations with the most prestigious companies in the seed sector, extensive crops, fertilizers and agrochemicals.
We have highly advanced machinery for seed selection and coating. We are at the same time responsible for the conservation in purity of some varieties.
